Refreshing or Restructuring? Learn about our partners here...

Mission Possible can help! In these times of economic pressure companies are trying to squeeze as much as possible out of existing resources or are re-structuring the company to improve performance. We can help you achieve your objectives and accomplish some meaningful outcomes such as:

Team Building - Why Teams?
Why Teams??

Why Teams??

TEAM = “Together Everyone Achieves More.”

Team Member Resources:

A group’s potential level of performance is, to a large extent, dependant on the resources that its members individually bring to the team.

Their Abilities - set the parameters for what members can do and how effectively they will perform in a team.

Their Personality Characteristics - the magnitude of the effect of any single characteristic is small, but taking personality characteristics together, the consequences for team behaviour are of major significance.

Team Values:

The values of a Team defines the team. If a team acts with integrity, shows trust and respect for one another, then the team will most likely exceed theirs, and everyone else's expectations.

These only ever work in both directions, however, so it requires that all team members embrace these values.

Richard Bach Quoted: “I want to be very close to someone I respect and trust and have somebody who feels the same way about me.”

Tom Peters:  “There is no such thing as a minor lapse of integrity”

Requirements For building Effective Teams:

Teams must be small enough in the number of members, 5-7 is ideal. (Katzenbach & Smith 1993)

Testimonial:

Let me congratulate you and your team for a job well done. The team building event organized for the Colombo Plan College faculty, was indeed a learning but fun event.

A good effort was made to achieve the objectives of strengthening synergy, trust and cooperation among members of each team through games which were challenging but fun and motivational.

Prof. Shyamal Majumdar, Ph.D.
